Maranatha (St. Mary's University Chapel Choir)

Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus! Pray with the St. Mary's University Chapel Choir this Advent hymn, written by Thomas Bell, which captures the spirit of hope of this liturgical season. It has been sung at the university baccalaureate Mass, Christmas concert or annual tree-lighting ceremony.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, each choir member recorded individual parts which were combined digitally to re-create the experience of singing together as a group.

All 33 on this video are St. Mary's alumni, graduates and former members of the chapel choir who have remained connected with the group since it formed in 2008 by María A. Smith.
