Prasad Padmanabhan, Ph.D.
Professor of Finance, Myra Stafford Pryor Chair of Free Enterprise and Sam Walton Fellow
Padmanabhan joined the Greehey School of Business in 2002. He previously held full-time
positions at San Diego State University, Pennsylvania State University, Vanderbilt University,
McGill University and Concordia University.
Padmanabhan has also offered several seminars to corporate executives and taught in
Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Jamaica, Trinidad, Mexico, South Africa, Canada and the Ivory
Coast.
Currently, he serves as the faculty adviser to the St. Mary’s University chapter of the global
student organization, ENACTUS. This chapter has won numerous regional awards during the
past five years.
A prolific researcher, he has published more than 25 articles in several prominent,
professional and academic journals including International Business Review, Journal of
International Business Studies, Management International Review, Journal of International
Management, Financial Review, Journal of Global Business, Journal of Banking and Finance,
Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Global Finance Journal, and Financial Analysts
Journal. He is also the Global Associate Editor for the Journal of Information Technology Case
and Applications Research.
