St. Mary's University Chapel Choir: Muéveme (Smith & Sanchez)

Pray with the St. Mary's University Chapel Choir this original Lenten hymn, written by Julieta Sanchez and set to music by María A. Smith.

“Muéveme” is a plea to God that he enter and transform us at the very core of our being. And it is also a personal invitation to each of us to become vulnerable and to recognize the struggles of our humanity, the things that we have gone through in our lives, but to realize that we are not alone and to recognize that God in all of his affection and in all the love he has for us guides us on the right path.

All 33 on this video include St. Mary's current students, alumni, graduates, and former members of the chapel choir who have remained connected with the group since it formed in 2008 by María A. Smith.

Each choir member recorded individual parts which were combined digitally to re-create the experience of singing together as a group.
